2025 4Runner Limited Build Update – Slowly Coming Together! 🤙

Figured it was time for another update on my 2025 4Runner Limited build! Since my first post, I’ve made a few changes and added some new upgrades. Slowly but surely, it’s getting closer to how I want it.

The goal is still the same: keeping it comfortable as a daily driver while making it more capable and ready for weekend adventures.

What’s New Since My Last Post

• Westcott Designs Preload Collar Lift – Finally installed! 2.5” front and 0.75” rear. Really happy with how it sits now, and the ride still feels pretty close to OEM.
• Van44 Skid Plate – Replaced my Trailhunter skid plate with the Van44 skid plate. Another upgrade to the underbody protection.
• Black Rhino Bastion BR601 Fusion Forged Wheels – Switched from my Method 709HD 0 offset wheels to the new polished Bastion BR601s in 17x8.5 +25 offset. Really loving the polished look, especially with the Heritage Blue paint!
• 42” LED Light Bar – Added a light bar from Alibaba to my Van44 roof rack. Pretty happy with how it turned out!
• MICTUNING C4 RGBW Rock Lights – Installed these recently. Installation was pretty straightforward, and they look awesome at night!

What’s Next?

Still have a few things on my wishlist:

• Full suspension upgrade
• Rock sliders
• Additional recovery gear
• Rear lighting
• Interior storage and camping setup
• More trail-ready upgrades

I’m also considering a little more lift in the rear to get the stance exactly how I want it.

It’s been fun seeing how much the 4Runner has changed since I first got it. I’m definitely learning along the way and figuring out which upgrades actually make sense for my needs.

Still not trying to build a hardcore rock crawler. Just a Limited that looks good, drives comfortably, and can handle some weekend adventures with the family.

And just like I mentioned in my first thread, the biggest challenge is still the budget. Every time I check something off the list, somehow another upgrade gets added!

Really happy with how the build is turning out so far. Still plenty more to come!

Heritage Blue crew! Your ride looks great. Like those wheels too. What are the four yellow lights across the front? So do you stick around the area you live or plan on some road trips in the future?

Here’s my Heritage Blue Limited. Also have the preload kit to fit my wheel/tire combo. Went with the stainless ASFIR skid plate.

Really great looking limited. I almost left the dealership with a Heritage Blue Limited, but the Windchill Pearl roped me back into another white 4Runner...

Thanks man! Your Limited looks great too! The four amber lights are from Lexland, mounted on the Heritage grille. Mostly sticking to local BC trails for now, but planning some longer road trips soon. Still new to off-roading haha.

Haha, can’t go wrong with either one! Windchill Pearl looks great on the Limited too!

I've done a lot since my last post. Need to head out on the trails for some "glamour shots" of the updates!

I'm typically not a fan of chrome wheels on a 4x4, but DAMN! those look good!. That style choice is a big factor. Great job!
