My wife and I took my 25 TRD Pro and 23 Intech Flyer Pursue (Adventure Package) from St. Louis to Glacier National Park and back. We stopped and camped at Badlands, Grand Tetons and Glacier. I averaged 14.3 miles, overall (towing and exploring). The camper weighs 1500 pounds dry and I upgraded the hitch to a Lock N Roll. Pulling this was super easy and I had 0 issues. Unfortunately, I didn’t take more pictures of the rig, but here’s a few.

Roof rack is a Prinsu Pro (w/ cutout) with a 40” CaliRaised light bar. Cargo box is a Thule Extended. PPF is Stek DynoMatte. More upgrades to come, just not sure what.

yeah i have been looking around for a small camper and ultimately settled on a fiberglass camper.

the problem i have is i need 2 separate beds (i wake up 1-3 times during the night, restlessness i have)

most i can find are pushing the gvwr of the 4R that i am not comfortable with. trying to find something around 4000-5000 gvwr but its very slim pickens for a dual bed setup.

i did find something that would be ideal but they are only in canada, an expandable clam shell that fits in the garage (big selling point since i would have to put it into storage 6 months of the year)

but its a bit of compromise with the bath and sleeping area.

stuck between scamp, casita, oliver, escape right now (the other niche ones dont work)

We're at the tail end of that same trip, except we took 6 weeks and live near Springfield! Almost 100% positive we saw you in the Tetons a couple weeks ago - I remember my son commenting on the satin look of the wrap. Hope you had an awesome trip!

We got to the Tetons 7/6, so definitely aligns! I saw a few over the last month I figured we'd "run into" either here or on one of the FB groups.

Nice rig and I hope you had a great time up here. I live about 50 min from Glacier and wish I would have seen ya on the road. We would have been twins.

I noticed you are using a Thule roof cargo box. Ive seen some people mention issues with mounting them to the prinsu roof rack due to the way the thule box is designed where it would attach to the cross bars. Did you have any issues and if so how did you get it to work? This is my biggest sticking point with getting the prinsu roof rack.

PPF. Stek Dynomatte. Clear on the fender flares and bumper areas.
that matte black looks really good. better than a normal painted black. if i didnt like dark colors that would be a good viable choice.

No issues. I bought the Thule Caprock bars thinking I would need them because the claws are recessed, but I didn't need them. Fits perfectly.

Wow! Living up there sounds awesome. Beautiful state. Glacier was absolutely incredible. Will definitely come back at some point. We only got to spend a day on the east side of the park.

I saw your truck on this forum right after I bought my 4Runner. I had a 23 Outbock Wilderness that was totaled in November that was also wrapped in matte PPF. I was on the fence about wrapping the 4Runner, but glad I did. I opted to keep the flares, bumpers, scoop, and mirrors glossy (PPF).

Great job on yours. Looks killer!
