Why does CarPlay disconnect - it’s such a pain to restore

My CarPlay has generally been fine.... however, I occasionally drive a route on highway 4 in the SF east bay and there is a section where CarPlay, bluetooth connection drops and phone has to be reconnected via infotainment 'user' screen... (I need to try the reset trick, thx EL616) This has been with recent (18.6.2) as well as prior iOS versions. I think this is a radio interference issue unique to that stretch of road but may contribute to other issues people describe.

The easiest way to quick fix it to hold down the power button for a few seconds and then power it back it up using the same button. Mine as doing it too often and it is very annoying. Hoping that Toyota will have a software update soon to correct this issue. First car this has ever happened to.
