What is "Quality Hold" Status

Buddy of mine had QC hold applied in May. Religiously checking up on his tracking (like all of us lol) he saw it in Freight/Rail Yard status, no movement. He has the 4WD SR5.

Today his status skipped over a few entries and went right to "Delivered, not yet Wholesaled". There is hope!

Mine is still showing factory to port with no date And no updates since 5.19.25. Was called yesterday with freight status eta arrival to dealer 7.11.-7.20.25. Original date was between 6.11-6.14.25

Got a call from my dealership that it’s now supposedly on the move and expected to arrive between 07/11-07/28…here’s hoping for sooner rather than later. Glad it’s finally on the move after sitting in Long Beach since 04/28.

I REALLY hope mine is on that same timeline. My dealer still has no idea wtf is happening.

Have you been able to check the spreadsheet on this forum? Mine updated on there as well so it helped verify the info my salesman got through Toyota dealer daily.

Yeah, I checked it this morning.. again. It’s still not showing any dates.

Hampton Roads... Hall Toyota. They treated me well. Not a lot of answers during the hold, but I don't think anyone did.

Last night around midnight, curious to see what Toyota website status showed on my allocation, it’s been months since I’ve visited page. Expected to see “eta this date to that date” in small italic font. It said At dealership. This morning, looked at our allocation resource, and allocation stated “at dealership”. Called my sales rep at 8:59am. She said it’s not there yet but on its way. Arrived around noon today. Interesting that the official Toyota site showed this, despite technically not “at dealership”. Past Monday 30th, sales called to say my allocation was taken off hold.

not too accurate. Mine is currently enroute to dealer per dealer. The list has no change in status since 5.19.25. Shows on list Factory to Port. Should be at dealer between 7.11 and 7.20.25.

For me it’s been pretty accurate. It showed port to dealer for a long time with no eta while it was on the qc hold at Long Beach. It updated the night after my dealer was notified it would be here between 07/11-07/21. The spreadsheet shows 07/11-07/28 though.

Mine was pretty accurate. Was a late April build date. Showed port to dealer for quite some time with no ETA dates. Got a call from my dealer when the spreadsheet updated the ETA dates about 5 days out. Finally the spreadsheet shifted to at dealer when the vehicle was on the delivery truck from port. I checked spreadsheet the morning of delivery and it showed at dealer, even though the vehicle wasn't there quite yet. (It showed up at dealer on truck about noon)

I also received delivery yesterday after putting deposit down April 1.

They will all start coming in July.
