USB-C Cable by Pedals

Hey there,

I just noticed a USB-C cable that appeared from behind the hood release panel. Does anyone know what it goes to or what is for?

wth is this ??? that is not normal besides the cable. i suspect the cable to be a gps tracker type device

i retract my post on the screw attached item. its actually a part of the under dash. weird there is a customer facing screw, which is un-typical of toyota.

i went out and checked mine and its there also.

I just took a look behind that spot on mine and there is nothing like that. The screw is normal, not the usb cable. Absolutely I'd get back there and find what it goes to. It's all pretty open and easy to see in there without even taking anything apart. You might need back surgery but that's a seperate issue.

I have not learned what it is for. I looked under the panel and it looks like the cable runs up by the Aux switch panel, but I couldn't see it past there.
