Undercoating for Hybrid?!?

Hello Fellow 4Runners,

Have a question, hopefully can be answered here. Dealership won’t do undercoating for hybrid vehicle. Due to, about messing up the electrical system and VOIDING the factory warranty. Any truth to this? While Krown says it’s fine. I’ve seen some EV’s having it done, regardless.

You can diy the undercarriage with fluid film or other corrosion prohibitors but careful with rubberized coatings. The car care nut has a video on corrosion prevention that talks about hybrids in the video.
