This is probably a simple question for many of you but I often find the owner’s manual confusing when looking for simple answers on features offered with the 4Runner Off Road Premium. My question to the group has to do with the odometer Trip A and B. I know how to go to the Dashboard Screen to turn Trip A and B on or off and how to go into Meter Settings to set Trip A and/or Trip B to record either Total Time and Distance or Average Speed. What I don’t know is how to access the info Trip A and B records. It seems it should be in Trip Information on the 14” Display Touch Screen but the only two options there are current trip info and history, nothing on Trip A and B. Does anyone know how to access the recorded trip information?

this is located in the MID screen from what i read in the manual.

i really cant find a pic with it showing trip "A" info, but i imagine you can configure the MID screen with it to show. i mean there is several ways you can semi configure the MID screen

Trip information

2 items that are selected using
the “TRIP A Items” or “TRIP B
Items” setting (average speed,
distance and total time) can be
displayed vertically.

Use the displayed information
as a reference only.

• “Average Speed”: Displays
the average vehicle speed
since the display was reset*

• “Distance”: Displays the distance
driven since the display
was reset*

• “Total Time”: Displays the
elapsed time since the display
was reset*

*: To reset, display the desired item
and press and hold the meter
control switch.

Thank you for your reply Nodak. I am aware of the info you provided which is part of my frustration with the manual. It seems to take me to where I want to go but does not. I will look at Customizable features to see if that's the answer.

Yes! This works! Thank you much! I believe you are correct; this info is not in the manual or not anywhere I can find anyway.

I have a related question. But would happily give this question its own thread if folks think that makes sense:
Is there a way to download (or even just view) all post trip summaries?
When I power off my TRD ORP it provides me with a summary of that most recent "trip": time, distance, MPGs. See example.
2025 Toyota 4runner Trip Odometer Trip A and B - how to access log / records? 20250621_164857

I'd like to have access to every one of these (in a table/spreadsheet?). Is there any way to extract this information that must exist somewhere in the 4Runner computer? (The infotainment screen trip history is .... not terribly useful - but willing to be taught how it could be)
Thanks for any help

I wouldn't mind downloadable info like this as well. The info they save and pass on to insurance companies (if you choose to permit it) would probably contain that and a lot more (like info on braking and acceleration g-forces and cornering and a full GPS log). So it would probably require an OBD tool of some sort, to extract it manually. The car computer probably packages it all up into a report to send wirelessly to insurance companies (a dealer can probably access it as well, and Toyota lawyers might use it to confirm or deny warranty claims), so it probably exists somewhere in the car's memory (some dash cams could potentially provide such reports as well, but not mpg).

But these OBD tools for the general public all seem to pale in comparison to what you can download, record, and change via the VCDS scan tools from Ross-Tech (limited to VW-Audi and a couple euro brand vehicles). If there is something on par with VCDS but for Toyota, I'd be interested.
