Why not go with the TRD Off-Road over the OR Premium? The main differences between the two come down to creature comforts like the moonroof with sunshade and the digital rearview mirror—and adding those can push the price up by nearly $6,000 for features I personally don’t find essential.
Mechanically, both trims offer the same off-road hardware: locking rear differential, Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, and more. So from a capability standpoint, you’re not sacrificing anything by going with the standard TRD Off-Road.
I’d much rather save that money and invest it in meaningful upgrades—like tires, a lift, a roof rack, or other mods that actually enhance the vehicle’s utility and performance. Unless someone really wants a slightly more upscale interior or those specific tech features, the base TRD Off-Road makes a lot more sense to me.
I’m still deciding, but I’m definitely leaning toward the TRD OR. Unfortunately, it looks like dealerships in my area are pricing the vehicle $5K or more above MSRP with unnecessary add-ons, which makes the decision even trickier.

I don't like the OR light gray fabric or manual seats. I don't mind darker fabric and I like SR5 black seats. The light gray will shows dirt and it's an OR vehicle makes no sense. In my view either get SR5 swap tires or jump up to OR Premium. Locker is nice but not a deal breaker.
