I need to ask a favor of those with the Trailhunter On Board Air. Would you mind popping out the tray on the wheel well hump (where the compressor is mounted and see if there is a part number on the compressor, mounting bracket, or the display? I have been searching for months (its not on the Toyota parts website) and the parts department at the dealer is no help either. Just need the part numbers and photos would be awesome as well!. **Note - no tools are needed to pop the tray out. Just pull to pop out.

Nah, the Tacoma one is different than the 4Runner one.
Trust me, I have read every thread on this topic on the internet and the information just isn’t there lol.
This is why I’m asking for someone to look at their own.

Read the second link you quoted above. Spike provides the spec part numbers for trailhunter. variation from Tacoma.
and I’m still looking for installation instructions to be certain I can make it work on ORP.

I’ve replied to that thread before. I am specifically looking for the 4Runner specific one.
For you, have you popped that tray out yet and looked around? My Pro has the wire harness already in there. Just need the compressor/mount/display. Just cut a hole for the display and I’m set.

Cor— I’m trying to be helpful here but your question implies that you did not read the latest on that thread - where I showed photos of pulling the tray out and looking around on my ORP. The post above mine specifically calls out the different sub-parts for 4Runner. Im not positive they are correct but they are different than Tacoma According to Spike. “Unlike the Tacoma these end in AB, AC, AD” (or something close to that.) If you know this is incorrect, I welcome the insight. (And if you do cut and install I’ll be very interested in the result because I want to do it but am hesitant to spend $800 on a part I’m not positive will fit.)

Sorry, I didn’t realize that was you :)
As for the part #s Spike posted, he was replying to me :)
These are not the parts we are looking for.
Those are ARB accessories. The $600ish part is a ARB single compressor in a bag. Trust me, I have read every thread and have cross checked every part number that’s been in them.
that’s why I’m asking for someone to put eyes on so we don’t have to keep guessing.
I will certainly post an install video once I finally get the right parts.

Me too. I am a bit OCD and get fixated on a topic and go overboard. Hence reading every post on this topic and cross checking part numbers at the dealer.
I feel like this is an easy fix but just need to get one person to look. I’ve been asking for 2 months now in various locations with no hits.

Ah ok. Have you tried calling McGrath or Ourisman? While they are Toyota dealers, they have huge inventory of parts and sell online. I've found they seem to know more than the typical (mine) Toyota dealer.

I might try that option. Thanks!

This is a part number I haven’t seen yet!
I recently tried adding the TH vin but didn’t get this result. This one seems to be the most promising one to date though. My only concern is the Tacoma one is like $900. This low price has me wondering if this might not be what we are looking for.
might be worth buying it just to see and returning it if it’s not what we need.
thanks for finding this though!
