K, got a set of four of the 7” wide steps. Glad I went wide. Overall I like them!
exactly what I was after for an easy to remove step option. They feel pricey for what they are though.

time will tell how they hold up… will not be worth it if they start degrading.

They are 3D printed with carbon fiber reinforced PETG.
They snap on and hold securely. A quick yank upwards to remove them.
There are optional pins that can be inserted to lock the tabs in place that secure them to the bar.
They hold my 180 lbs just fine with no flex.

Here is a photo comparing them to the metal step option that is available. These sit lower, which I like better and they are much wider, providing a more secure purchase when accessing the roof rack.
If these survive long term in the desert sun, they are a winner.

Just got a set of these. Impressed so far! I have the metal ones too but have not installed them. Do you use both?

No not using both. Just took photo with both so folks could compare them. Metal ones are in storage until I can ascertain how long the printed ones will hold up here in the desert.
