My dealer swapped out my wheels for me when the preformed the 5K service for no charge. Changed SR5 17" wheels/tires for Tundra 18" wheels/tires, both 2026. They didn't reset the TPWS for me and I asked parts dept. and was told they are different p/n. Am I able to program the Tundra TPWM to work on the 4Runner? If not, what is the easiest/best solution? I still have the stock take-offs if I need to use the old TPWM sensors, but they will charge for 8 tire mounts/dismounts, etc. Thanks in advance!

There should not be a problem programing the Tundra TPWM to your 4Runner. Your dealer can do it. BUT WHAT WILL THEY CHARGE? ......My N CA dealer is 225$ an hour......So I bought from the Internet "Tire Rack" in Reno the TPWM universal Programer. $225 shipped to me. Now if I want to use aftermarket TPWM valves, I just use the Programmer to recognize the aftermarket TPWM sensors to my 4Runner software.

Before you pay anyone anything at least try to do what the manual describes under registering new sensors.
Text below from Gemini Notebook looking at the manual (so its probably almost word for word)

1. Registering New Sensor IDs (e.g., a Second Wheel Set)
If you are installing brand new tire pressure sensors, their unique ID codes must be registered to the vehicle's computer. The system can save up to two separate wheel sets (such as a summer set and a winter set).
  1. Preparation: Park the vehicle in a safe place and leave the hybrid system turned off for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Start the System: Turn the hybrid system on while the vehicle is stationary (you cannot register sensors while driving).
  3. Navigate the Menu: Use the steering wheel controls to navigate the multi-information display (MID) to:
    • Settings (gear icon) âž” Vehicle Settings (press and hold OK) âž” TPWS Setting âž” Tire Set Switching âž” Register New Valve/ID.
  4. Select the Wheel Set: Check whether "Tire Set 1" or "Tire Set 2" is displayed. Use the arrow switches to choose which set you wish to register these new IDs to.
  5. Initialize Registration: Select OK and press the OK button. The tire pressure warning light will slowly blink 3 times, then blink for about 1 minute before remaining continuously lit.
  6. Drive to Complete: Drive straight (with occasional left and right turns) at approximately 25 mph (40 km/h) or more for 10 to 30 minutes. Reversing during this process will clear all collected data, requiring you to start the drive again. Once complete, the warning light will turn off.

Thanks to all for the suggestions and feedback. I ended up going to Discount tire as they said free to check the sensors and program if needed! Turned out that the Tundra wheels had the TPWS removed and the seller didn't mention it. Discount tire moved the ones from the stock SR5 wheels to the Tundra wheels and programed them... All is GOOD now!
