Tested Off-Road & Snow Very Impressed!

I took the Off Road to a very difficult trail sand mud rock and tested all the modes and WTF crawl mode is great! Very impressed with my new ride. We just got dumped on in Tahoe and I finally got to fully test in deep snow, ice, etc and the damn thing is a snow machine. Performed flawlessly. Everything works perfectly. Besides the shitty paint and flimsy body panels I am loving this 4Runner!

Well, you bought an Off-road Trim. I wouldn’t be too surprised. It doesn’t have to be a TrailHunter or Pro to accomplish things. The trims mentioned just make it way easier.

I also drove my 4R Trailhunter near Post 1's area during the recent snow, but in Nevada. I was also impressed driving in some snow even in 2WD. I'm thinking the weight distribution of a 4Runner (with hybrid battery over the rear axle) puts more weight over all 4 wheels compared to my 2017 Tacoma.

I suspect with my Tacoma, I would have been slipping sooner with my empty pickup bed, and therefore would have needed to engage 4WD sooner, I suspect.
