Took a slight chance and replaced 285/70/18 Toyo AT3 with 295/70/18 Toyo SL RT trails . Confirm that it fits with no lift. I just had to remove the liner and mudflaps. No touch on crash plate as of yet.

Ohh!! Jeez not another one!!! this is getting insane….,,ly Awesome. What i did not expect when going to 295’s is how much taller they are then my 35’x17” inch setup on my Gen 1 Bronco. I bought my pro thinking there is not much i can do to it in regards to customization lol i was lying to myself . Now i want Volks on my bronco, ditch lights , light bar etc. have a great Thursday everyone.

any cutting of anything to get these on with a stock lift?
When you get down here you can check mine out to get an idea. How easily it fits just minor adjustment. Mine barely rubbed but they rubbed. 5 min later removed that liner EZ /PZ

Did you try the 295/70R18 tires with the liner removed and front mud flaps still intact? I really like the factory mudflaps and I want to keep the fronts and rear on with my factory TRD PRO wheels. I was hoping that when I install some Nitto Recon Grappler 295/70R18's that I can remove the crash plates and liner and leave the mudflaps with no rubbing. I have yet to see anyone leave them on so I was not sure if they were taken off to be safe there wouldn't be any rubbing. I thing it looks odd to keep the rear mudflaps on with nothing up front to control the splatter on the side of your truck.
I was hoping that the Nitto Recon Grapplers aren't as aggressive and have less tred on the sidewall that may have less chance of rubbing.

Yes but it def rubs on the mudflap. The 285 didn’t so might be your best bet.

Ok thanks buddy good to know. Wondering even if I added the Westscott Designs pre collar lift that would make a difference or you think that diameter of the tire is the main reason. I was also hoping that there may a little wiggle room when the do an alignment the could move the wheel for a touch to get it away from the mudflap.

These look so much better than the stock 265s. I'd want to do this on my Trailhunter when I get it, but I'm worried about sound insulation, rust, etc. :/

Did the old tire and the new ones fit the spare area?
