So based on my understanding seat a steering wheel position can be set by both the key or the buttons on the door. I have it set to tilt the wheel and partially move the seat to exit. It doesn’t move back. I have also set it to use key (I think) and I have set the buttons on door. If it moves back to to assist with exit it doesn’t back I have to reset using seat controls. Neither the profile for key or saved position on door moves it back. The steering wheel moves as expected. Anyone else experiencing this? Am I doing something wrong or do I need to already take it in?

Have you calibrated the seat? There's a procedure for that. IIRC, you can tell if it's not if it beeps while you're moving the seat.

What I have noticed is that it's supposed to position everything when you either start the vehicle or plug the seat belt in but sometimes it forgets to do that.

It beeps when you move it. I looked through the book and never saw anything about “Calibration.” Quick google and following that procedure and now it work. So dealership didn’t do something, I did think it was weird it beeped when you moved it.

Thank you.

since the dealer forgot to do the PDI correctly, i would check the other things that should have been done in case they missed more than just the seat initialization.

over inflated tires is also a big miss during PDI
