I have a 2025 Tacoma TRD Off-Road. I live in Texas with concrete roads, and when driving over the expansion joints, the suspension is way too stiff for me. I purchased the Radflos and initially installed the rears. It made a tremendous difference. A couple of days later, I put the front struts on and got them adjusted about a half inch above factory ride height.
I have to say, the transformation was very good. The ride on city streets and the highway is much smoother. In the past, when you hit expansion joints, it felt like you were on solid tires. I’ve only been able to drive it on dirt roads with a lot of washboard, and it completely smoothed out the ride. With the stock suspension, I felt like it would rattle the fillings out of my teeth.
Yes, I know I bought an off-road vehicle; however, there’s no need for it to be so stiff and harsh. I have previously driven class 7 and class 9 Baja trucks, so I am not a complete novice to suspension mods and what it can do for you. Overall, I would recommend these, depending on what you’re looking.
Side note. Radflo did not send spanner wrenches with the struts, you have to purchase them?? Also there new WEB page is not accurate. The pictures do not match what you are ordering. I did specify a smooth street ride so I was told they valves it that way. We will see how they hold up.
