if i remember correctly the limited and platinum headlights only have "4RUNNER" on them. the lower trims have no headlight markings. TH and PRO have unique markings.

How were you able to decipher the part numbers per headlight?
A user on the 6th Gen 4Runner Facebook group is actually doing this upgrade, and ordered 81140-35680 and 81070-35680 which are confirmed to be TRD Pro with the stamps on the headlights. Haven't heard the verdict yet, but I believe they are going to install them this weekend on their Off Road Premium.

I am leaning towards the limited ones since those don't have a trim stamp on them.
I work for Toyota. I have access to the parts lookup

No the base headlamps say 4Runner on them but they do not illuminate. Limited trim and Platinum illuminate 4Runner, the TRD Pro illuminates the word Pro, and the Trailhunter illuminates the logo.

Hi all,

I am happy to report that the user who did the swap was a success. The TRD Pro headlights were a direct fit and everything works as usual including the leveling switch inside on the driver's side dash. He did mention that the premium headlights use one less plug, so one wire harness from the car gets plugged into a dummy socket on the premium headlight. It's like Toyota specifically designed it that way knowing people are going to do this swap.
