Need help with first 4Runner build!!

Hi all, getting my first 4runner/toyota in late May, coming from wrangler.

I am getting the 2026 new trd sport, which will basically look like the pic attatched.

I want to make it look like the other pic with minimal (ideally no mods or lifts).

Tint and side steps will be dealership.

Mainly need help with tires/wheels.

What size tire can i squeeze on the TRD sport without a lift? Have gone down the rabbit hole around the forum.

Considering Falken Wildpeak 285/70/17 and a wheel 17x8.5, with +25 offset (maybe method 705) Will this work without causing any rub/suspension problems?

And then minor issue is: will seat covers cause problems with heated seats? And any option to replace the 8 inch screen with a bigger aftermarket 14"?

You would need:

Apex predator drop steps - which you said your doing with dealer (OEM)

Lasfit LED Turn signals (here)

Black Emblem Overlay - would also just ask the dealer (OEM)

Front air dam removal

- The tires and wheel setup you have in mind will work
- There are aftermarket screens, I know some other people in this forum have done it. (here)

thank you! any advice on seat covers without interfering with heating? pretty ugly seats on the sport
