i wanted the dash tray to put my clip on sunglasses in. its more a of convenience issue than using the overhead sunglass storage compartment.
these cheap little VHB sunglass loops rock. I have one stuck to the
side of the headunit to hold my pair 1 sunglasses, and another stuck
a bit lower for my pair 2 sunglasses. glacier glasses are in the overhead
probably won't work for clipons but I wanted to toss this here as an option for storage

yeah i miss my little tray across the shift lever in the 2014 4R, was the perfect size to fit my clip on polarized shades.
in the 2025, there is no place to put any small items close by. the muslogy is the best i can find to hold small items. and i dont want to open the over sunglass storage bin and too much hassle to open the center console and it being so small vs the 2014 deep enough to get the bends depth.

I have the dash tray... It's nice to have a place to put things but I don't use it as often as I thought I would. What does get used is this cubby, I did not 3m it on it just hangs there. I also added the door pull storage phone cubby thing. I bought both through StickerFab

AtoZ delivered today the muslogy headunit tray. really simple install. came with 2 soft pads that attach to something, i am guessing the bottom of the tray. no instructions so i guessed.
here is a quick video of it. like it, someplace to put the sunglasses with quick easy access to.
the tray inserts are nice and sticky to stay in place and enough grip to hold stuff from sliding from normal driving.
it has enough tension on install that it shouldn't slide up during normal usage.

I picked this up for mine recently and it's already saved by bacon on a spill. Fits like a glove.

AtoZ delivered the other storage insert today.
quick video, not much to show. has the same sticky pads so items wont slide around in the trays.
