Mudbath not coming to lower trims on 2026 4Runner

Just purchased a 2025 ORP from a dealership in WY and was chatting with one of the sales reps, so take it with a grain of salt I suppose, but he was telling me the Mudbath color wasn’t going to be going to lower trims for the 2026 models. Don’t know if anyone is hearing anything similar but seemed like deviation from the past and kind of shocking. I was considering waiting for this color, but if this is the case glad I grabbed I didn’t wait any longer.

Salesman does not know. Very, very rarely do they know more than the people on forums like this.

Toyota always puts out a press release with this info, and they haven't.

I've been checking their press page for months waiting on color/feature announcements.

lol nice sales person tactic, "better hurry up and get this color in this model, it wont be here next year"

TRD Pro is the only trim that usually gets a unique color for 1-2 yrs (have seen a color go for 3 but its rare) then it trickles down to the other trims.

this year it happens to be mudbath.

the tundra solar octane went for 2 yrs on the trd pro then filtered down to the lower trims in 2024, but for 2025 they dropped it completely from the tundra line up.

Toyota has not released info on 26 4Runner colors yet. The salesperson is guessing

I'm in Canada and in the process of buying a TRD Off Road Premium. I very much want Mudbath and am holding out for 2026 to see if it makes it into the lower trims like the Tundra did. My dealer also says that it's not in the plans for 2026. He did say this trim in Canada is getting a digital rear view mirror and trailer brake controller standard though.

Here's hoping they sneak it in before the press releases.
