Missing two fasteners on front skid plate??

Am I missing two fasteners?? This is a picture of the front plastic skid plate on my ORP Hybrid. This is removed to do oil changes (Access oil filter). Dealership were the last ones uunder the truck from last service.

Yes you are missing two bolts! I happen to have my old plastic skid plates sitting next to me.

Yes, I believe this is the bolt spec you need, Biff.

OEM plastic splash-shield bolt (silver 12mm head): 90119-08D64.

I have two spare bolts I can mail you if you can't get them back from the stealership. The metal skid plates only use 6 bolts so I have two extra now.

I would force the dealer to redo or change dealer if you have another one nearby.

Speak to the service manager, not the advisor. They need to know. How many others have they done like this.

I had the same issue with Ford, I had to check their work each time and found missing fasteners four times.

It’s always a good idea to do a cursory check on things after someone else works on your vehicle.

Three years ago I picked up my new pickup truck (a Ram, not a Toyota) from the dealership after its very first oil change. A few days later I left Tennessee on vacation pulling a small RV trailer. I was somewhere in Missouri when something -I don’t know what- prompted me to pop the hood. The oil filler cap was not installed! There it was sitting on top of the engine having been pinned down by the tight fitting hood.

So now I pop the hood after every oil change done by someone other than me.

Even longer ago my Gen 3 4Runner ended up with a skid plate that some mechanic had zip tied on.
