Had that exact setup on my 4th-gen Tacoma and I was pretty happy with it; it didn't hang as low, but it was slightly tighter and rubbing up against the pan hard bar and wearing off the paint. I think for my 4Runner, I'm either sticking with a more stock size or just going for 35's and a tire carrier. Nice setup though, dude!

@climbv1 Can you take and post pics of the top of your tire fully seated. I’ve posted a bunch of info and pics on fitting a 285/70/18 KO3 into the spare cradle and the front brackets definitely had to be modified. From your pic, your tire is hanging way lower than mine at the rear, so if you’ve tucked it inside the front brackets then you’re not fully seated at the back. And if you had tucked it fully up in the back, you wouldn’t clear the front brackets. I’ll post a pick of my spare taken from behind in similar pov to your photo. Look at the amount of tread/tire width hanging lower on yours. And I’ll post a pic showing top of tire sitting fully seated at hitch area and top of tire at front edge sitting fully seated near my modified front brackets.
