I'm not sure what you mean by bs accessories? I don't care about skid plates, etc. I can put those on later. I definitely care about no moonroof. I am almost 6'5" and the top of my head rubs against the headliner where it runs back around the moonroof cutout. I'd have to tilt my head Dino-style (from the Flintstones) if I got one with a moonroof. So, no chance. But you're not wrong about the difficulty of finding any Off-road Premium without a moonroof, regardless of the color. My dealer did find one nearby where they could do a dealer trade, but it was black. But someone chimed in with this, so I will be waiting:
There are a few in houston, but they have the floor mats, cargo cover, cargo holder things etc. that’s what I meant regarding bs accessories.

I have a deposit down on the build I want (ORP in Everest with no moonroof). Dealer did an allocation trade. Scheduled to arrive in US mid-August, anticipated delivery to local dealer (in MN) by end of August to early September. Initially the build came with Crossbars, emblem light, all of which was removed from the build. They would not remove the All weather floor liners. Added TRD Aluminum front skid plate, Door protectors, and blackout of front and rear Toyota signage. I plan to pull the trigger if they stand by their trade in offer on my current car and the "out the door" cost is in the ballpark of what I've been promised. I am not holding my breath, though, and kind of assume they'll try to pull a bait and switch. If they do, I will walk away.
Ironically, the timing is just a tad off. I will be taking a vacation in Colorado for the second week of September. I am not betting on getting the 4Runner by then. I would really have liked to use it for the trip, but don't want to spend the entire 1500 mile break-in period doing highway miles on cruise. Our timing doesn't really allow us to use secondary highway with town stops. That will happen once we are in Colorado.

If the dealer is "typical", you can absolutely expect a bait and switch or additional accessories added before you arrive to the dealership. They'll then say, "It's already on the vehicle sir. We can't take it off".
If not, you found an honest dealer/unicorn.
We drove ours home from San Antonio to Kingwood, roughly 250 miles on I-10. I know it's not 1500, but it' s highway miles nonstop. No issues regarding engine break-in.

Yeah, they're already doing that with the accessories (said I can't remove the floor liners and cargo cover, but in the scheme of things, BFD, its an extra $400 and I'd only be saving a hundred bucks with third-party liners. I might actually use the cargo cover at some point (when my dogs have passed) and I have stuff I want to hide.
My main concern with the bait and switch is that they may try to knock down the trade in value of my current vehicle beyond what's reasonable for additional miles and a month or two of aging the vehicle. A different dealer tried to do this when my wife traded in her car back in the pandemic when used cars fetched a premium. I raised holy hell about it, and they bumped up the trade in and gave me a couple thousand off the new car to get us close to what they'd previously promised (she'd only put about 700 more miles and a few months on the car). Maybe they'll be less inclined to do this because they went to the trouble of doing a dealer trade to get me exactly what I wanted. I can also see an ORP with no moonroof being a bit of a tough sell unless you find a buyer like me who needs the extra headroom due to height. Seems like 90% or more of ORP come with a moonroof--an expected item on a "premium" trim.

ours has the sunroof because the wife wanted it. Otherwise, I'd be in the same boat as you. At 6'4, my head just barely clears the roof by maybe half an inch-ish... Hopefully they stick to the agreed upon terms, but don't hold your breath. Discounting the trade is absolutely a trick they'll try.
anything that is PIO can be added/removed at a port of entry (not including GST/SET regions). the only things you cannot add/remove is the FIO items which is about 5 things at most.
most FIO items are listed on the toyota website as "OPTIONS"
all PIO/DIO items are listed under "ACCESSORIES"
DIO items are listed in the detail descriptions as "INSTALLATION NOT INCLUDED"

FIO = factory installed option
PIO = port installed option
DIO = dealer installed option
you can change the PIO prior to the vehicle reaching a port of entry (portland, newark, long beach)
jaxport is for SET and GST uses portland for 4runners, but uses houston for its port also
once a vehicle is processed in the inbound port (see above) then they are railcar'd to a regional "port" so to speak, once there they are railcar'd to a toyota logisitcs company that is closer to your dealer (within 1-2 days semi transport)
my local railcar location is daytons bluff, mn. then its put on a semi truck transport and takes about 1 day delivery (510 miles 1-way)
