If you jump right out and close the door I don't hear it. You need to either turn off the vehicle and stay in, or just open the door. Seems if you close the door to fully shut off the electrical system, you don't get the, clunk clunk.
Interesting that it is coming from the front. i actually parked this morning and sat there for a minute or so and nothing. This is before reading this thread and was not paying attention, but it sounds like it's a noticeable thing. Does it happen every time under the circumstances you describe? Wondering if it's the Electric motor clutch disengaging/ engaging for some reason..,

@kekecarioca It is consistent for sure. Park the vehicle turn off the ignition but do nothing else. You'll see the screen show your trip info. When that fades to black, minute or so, I typically hear the one clunk clunk, then a few small clicks, and another clunk clunk. Then it is done. I really do think it is normal, just some folks don't notice, or might get out too soon and close the door.

Understood. I'll give it a try today and report back.

I’ve got the off-road hybrid and it does the same thing. Something to do with the hybrid system and all the fancy new electronics. One of the noises could be the automatic grille shutter as well

I just went for a ride and tried it at destination and back, I think it happened as well. It's so darn windy today that it's hard to hear your own thoughts... nevertheless I think i did notice something there after a while sitting there.
As you mention @JimmyDean it well could be the grilled shutter actuating for some reason.
The more of us here noticing it shows the normality of it I suppose.

Thanks, @kekecarioca. Appreciate another data point. I truly do think these are all normal sounds or I would have known it by now with some other bad symptom. Just wanted to be double sure before I take it in for the service since I am going to have them do the TSB on the brakes anyway.

Just yesterday, I had to sit in my vehicle and write up some notes after I turned the engine off. Yes, many strange noises. All of the noises happened within the first 2 to 4 minutes. I'm going to chalk it up to normal for a hybrid system. Our Lexus NX 350h makes similar noises after the engine is turned off.
