Front door entry weatherstrip with part number

I tore a gash in the driver side door entry weatherstrip. Found the part number at Toyota parts and ordered for delivery. It said 3 - 7 days, it was delivered today, 3 days after ordering.

I think my rear end hits my gasket getting in and out. Thinking of some way to reinforce about a three inch strip. If I replace will be damaged in another couple of months. Or maybe a diet.
