Me and my dog went on a last minute trip to a local off road park on Memorial Day. They really had to twist my arm to try the new, no mods 4R out....lol

I've been off roading for decades with alot of different and very capable rigs but this one is on another level as far as the experience. With all the different tools you have at your fingertips four wheeling has never been easier.

Once you figure out your camera's and what all the lines represent maneuvering through the outdoors is a breeze, even in tight spots. I only needed a spotter at one place and it was probably a 10' steep drop with a 2" ledge on one side. My spotter is 6'5 to give you an idea. Video's below.

Crawl is a ball, it's basically a point and steer up and over everything you can clear, there's a range of settings and once you pick your speed it will sense what's in front and adjust to tackle that terrain, once it's over, it's back up to the speed you set it at. Goes between 3 and 18 I believe. It's pretty much adaptive cruise for slow speed off-roading... Pretty cool.

Unfortunately I didn't have my right Go Pro mount so I had to rig something on the fly, hence the too low angle in the video.

I haven't done any editing on mine or the other rig with me vids yet so here's the shortest one I got.

Once I get the vid edited I'll write a more details trip report and what I found out on the maiden voyage.

Well, you can tell we're not tech guys, I messed up half my settings on my go pro and the other guy had his front camera set to just audio....lol

I do have some to edit but here's a few not edited. Again, sorry about the angle, it was a last minute thing, I'll have my other mount for next trip to get better vid.

Did you use the swaybar disconnect, if so, did that make a noticeable difference?

I tried it both ways, there's definitely a difference. I was getting pretty off camber and the body was staying much more level with it disconnected. It's hard to tell in the video's (again because of the angle of the camera) but I was purposely riding up onto ridges and rocks to see how the body was going to react. It's not my purpose built Off Road Rig but it's pretty impressive for OEM.

Like mentioned earlier in other posts, the rear is gonna be the problem as far as bigger tire clearances.

No real damage, tiny scratch on RF rim, tiny scratch on mirror and LF flare.

Hit center hybrid-crossmember once but it was because a rock rolled, no damage, mudflaps hit a lot, crazy but even though they feel hard they seemed to bend and snap right into place. The bottom edges got nicked up but other than that, they survived great. I thought I was gonna have them torn off within 20 minutes of being there.
