I just put a deposit on my first new vehicle- an Everest ORP. I liked the looks and drivability, so I decided to pull the plug. I really liked the looks of the Trailhunter, but I really doubt I’ll use the overland features. Heck, I doubt I’ll tax what I have coming. Might as well save the 10k.

I think I’m getting a line of BS from the dealer tho- I liked the bronze package on the Trailhunter, so I’m having them get me a set of the bronze wheels. He’s telling me that I need to get the tires too, that the ones that will come on the TRP option wheels won’t work. That doesn’t match my research. Since they are both the same size tire, and from what I can tell the TRP wheels are 8 inch and the Trailhunter ones are 8.5, the tires should be fine.

Any thoughts on this?

I’ll look around. I was guessing they wouldn’t be out there due to the limited availability. Thanks for the tip!

ORP comes with 17 inch rims. I suspect the Bronze rims are 18 inch.

Just wanted to say congrats on the new ride! Everest is a beautiful color to pair with the bronze wheels IMHO.

So that means you'll get these wheels below. They are the optional "TRD" flat black wheels in 18" that will get installed at Port:

You're right that your dealership is trying to make more money in up-selling you a new set of tires. The tires with your stock will fit the bronze wheels from Trailhunter.
