Wanted to share a recent customer review that stood out to us, especially for those asking about long-term durability on SUMA ceramic LINK.

This customer has been using our ceramic spray for the past 3 to 4 years on his truck, including paint, vinyl, and plastic trim, all in Phoenix heat.

That kind of environment is tough on any protection product, so feedback like this means a lot.

Here’s what he shared:
  • Consistent protection even in extreme sun and heat
  • Works across multiple surfaces (paint, trim, plastics)
  • Maintains a clean, glossy finish over time
One thing we always emphasize — this isn’t a one-time ā€œset it and forget itā€ coating.

It’s designed to be:
  • Simple to apply
  • Easy to maintain
  • And reapplied as part of your regular wash routine.
For most people, that ends up being the sweet spot between performance and practicality. Appreciate customers like this who’ve been using it consistently over the years šŸ™Œ

Would love to hear from others here. How has your experience been with ceramic sprays in the long term?

2-3 shots per panel from an 8z bottle won't go very far. Wondering what the monthly/annual costs for the product is?
Not cheap here by any means, just looking for some more info.

Totally fair question. A little actually goes a long way with SUMA. If the surface is properly prepped, 2–3 shots per panel can last up to around 6 months. For optimal performance, we typically recommend reapplying every 2–3 months depending on use and conditions.

You’ll see some brands advertise 12+ months, but real-world results often depend heavily on prep, environment, and maintenance. We prefer to set realistic expectations so customers actually get consistent performance.

Also, compared to traditional waxes or sealants that only last a few weeks, SUMA is much more durable and reduces the frequency of heavy detailing. The idea is you do a proper detail once before applying, and after that, maintenance becomes much easier.

It’s definitely not the cheapest option upfront, but you’re getting longer-lasting protection and less frequent work over time.
