Hello:
I have a new noise that has developed in an SR5 4K miles, never taken off-road or modified. I noise the click noise if I do what I would call an abrupt lane change, on a quite road at 20-30 mph. It happens when making the maneuver left or right.
I have taken everything out of the car like console and glovebox contents. Rear cargo mat, nothing is stored in the door pockets. Nothing in the front seat pockets in the passenger area. When I first did this and based on one test drive when it was very cold out, I did not hear the click. Today, its warmed up the the mid 50's and the click is back. Repeatable every time.
I have pushed and pulled on the door hardware, the glove box and center console. Nothing I can find makes the noise. Its always one click in each direction, almost like something hanging and with the forces applied by the steering motion, it swings.
I know diagnosis of these noises are difficult anyways and especially on a forum. I also don't have confidence in the dealer wanting to find the root cause. So, I am hoping you guys have ideas.
Thanks
