Well I can confirm that you are stuck with it if you have a post 7/26 build date. I bought carista and a scan tool and neither of them can access the seatbelt reminders.
which scan tool? Was it the LAUNCH Creader?

the scan tool doesnt really affect the software. its the software and how it interacts with the ecu and pids codes. or they moved them to new pid codes and no one hasnt found them yet.

i am guessing toyota did something totally radical with the pid codes and how they are hidden without GTS (global techstream)

this is depressing, the seatbelt chime is the last annoying beep I need to address on mine, gonna double check the mfg date, but I think since I just picked it up fresh off the truck 2 weeks ago, I am probably post July. I really dont want to start using one of those seatbelt adaptor things.

Patience, I'm sure they will add it in a future update. To hasten the update, contact their tech support.

yeah i tried that, waste of time. all you get is an AI bot walking you thru steps to get debug files.

tried for 2 weeks and the app takes longer than 20 mins to pull a report (the vehicle shuts off after 20 mins of power drain) so i gave up trying and just let the sub lapse.

during that whole time, its just the AI bot sending emails to try the same process differently.

first time i send the debug report and it told me to try a different way to get the debug report.

it should not take longer than 20 mins to pull a debug report.

Have you tried it with the engine running?

it tells you to put the vehicle in "ON" mode, not running.

doing the debug it gets to around 38% and the vehicle shuts off, i am not going to sit and run my vehicle for 40-60 mins to get a dam debug report for them.

and i tried the process 3 times and it only gets to around 38% every time.

when you dont go thru the debug process the AI bot emails you, and go thru the normal scan process, it takes maybe 2-3 minutes, closer to under a minute usually.

I'm sure you've gone through the menus, the seatbelt warnings were in the Warnings menu, not Seats, and I did all of my scanning and programing engine on, or READY in hybrid speak.

If the PIDs are there, Carista and Launch will get thrm eventually, I'd guess.
