Cargo Area - Dog Liner/Mats?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a cargo liner that does a good job protecting that area from dirt, damage, and hair? Any brands to avoid?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a cargo liner that does a good job protecting that area from dirt, damage, and hair? Any brands to avoid?

I have two golden retriever fur factories. I wish they shed gold instead of fur.

Anywhos, I went for the inexpensive, but incredibly effective solution. I already had a good cargo mat (Toyota calls it a tray) that came with the mats option on the ORP. Then I just used a bedspread that we have used for the dogs in the past and put it in the cargo area, up the sides of the cargo area and up the back of the seats. Used the back seats head rests to hold the part of the bedspread covering the back of the back seats, and used some clips to clip the bedspread to each of the side storage bins. It made for a great complete covering, fur collector, for the entire cargo area. You'll still need to vacuum the headliner after pet trips.

One thing, the Toyota cargo mat/tray has sharp ridges. Since I was worried about my Prima Donas not being comfortable when they laid down, like Princess and the Pea, I bought a couple of really cheap carpet mats from Walmart and put them on top of the cargo mat/tray (under the bedspread) so their royal bodies would be comfy when laying down.

I really like the looks and fitment of the Canvasback, but hesitant to buy because of the Velcro attachment to the upholster. Have you noticed the hooks fuzzing out the carpet it attaches to?

I’ve solved the problem. I don’t like leaving the dogs crated for a long time, but this will contain the mess. It won’t do much for the smell though. My white Wirehair has found that fresh cow pies are a delight to roll in. She’s white at the beginning of a hunt, sometimes green at the end.
