Canadian orders yet?

I’m finally getting my TRD ORP next week after waiting two months — can’t believe it’s actually happening. This will be my first 4Runner and my first Toyota, so I’m pretty pumped.

For my fellow Canadians: what accessories or must‑have items did you add in the first month of ownership? Did any of you go for the extended warranty?

I’m in SK and planning to do PPF on the partial front plus ceramic coating right away. After a month or so, I’m thinking about adding the TRD skid plate.

Good day! I’m in SK as well and glad to see someone else got one. I’m currently on the wait list and expected to have it delivered by August, so not too long of a wait. I went with the TRD Off-road premium hybrid, underground. I’ve been going in all forums to see if I’m making a mistake trading in my 2021 SR5 which was mainly used in the City.

How is your experience with the 6th gen since you got it? I know lots of the interior has changed and I’m good with that, but was curious how everything else holds up (ie: engine, exterior body, etc.)

I put in a deposit in mid march for 26 underground hybrid ORP. They called me yesterday 23 July and said it arrived. Picking up next week.

In edmonton.

A dealership in calgary is getting theirs in end Aug. Still up for grabs afaik, but non refundable deposit.

Has anyone heard any chatter from dealerships regarding Platinum allocations recently? It’s been about 4 months since I’ve put my deposit down. Dealer salesman said I would maybe receive it early August when I put the deposit down, but maybe that was just to secure an order. There’s a supersonic red platinum in the GTA available that I went and checked out, but it’s $2500 more and with power running boards which I don’t want. Talking to that dealer, they said it took 6 months for that cancelled order to come in. Hard to wait, but I suppose waiting maybe another two months to save $2500 and get what I want is worth it. Can use that towards TAG and an immobiliser install.

The salesman from the GTA dealership must’ve heard my passive aggressive typing because he just texted me today and said it’s in the pipeline for delivery with an ETA of late October/early November, with it still being a 2026 MY.

Normal practice or the hype is still so strong?

AB checking in. Drove it to Van and back this summer with the camper. Pulled 3500# up the coquihalla doing 130 km/h and she had more power to give.
