Can someone give me a quick education?

I'm 6'4" and decided on the TRD Pro. I love it. They are a lot of money but they keep their value. Sadly, I was involved in a car accident (that may be to sever of a term) let's call it a fender bender. No air bags were deployed. I bought my former TRD Pro in 2017 for $43,000 new. Last October when my front end found the side of a small Cadillac that attempted a U-Turn in front of me, insurance paid $33,000. The pay out allowed me to pay cash for my new Pro.

I hear a lot of people complain about the battery and lack of storage, but I have not found this an issue at all. Seems like its just a talking point. There are hidden storage compartments that allowed me to sack one of my storage bins and use the compartment (gaining back some space.)
I keep my truck full of camping, recovery, and beach bum equipment and it all fits fine.

you can make your own hidden storage if you want to do
plastic welding and cutting in the rear trim and floor

strip out the rear trim you'll find a good bit of space exists all over

Nice upgrade! I also have the Pro and love it. Question for you - before you took it on the beach for the 1st time, did you spray the undercarriage, etc. with Fluid Film or something similar??

If he's towing often, don't forget about the tow-tech package! It comes with an integrated brake controller and straight path assist. I went with the ORP non-hybrid and have not missed the hybrid torque/power. It's nice...but the gas model has plenty...especially in sport mode. I would consider hybrid if he'll be towing a lot as it will reduce stress on the turbo over time (as mentioned previously).
