I've had the driver's side interior panel from Cali Raised for a few months and have been happy with it, so I decided to add on the passenger side and overhead tray. Cali Raised initially sent me a second driver's side panel by mistake, but quickly shipped out the correct one when I emailed them and also provided a prepaid return label for the duplicate panel. No complaints with their customer service.

No instructions are provided, but they do have a well made install video on youtube and everything is pretty straightforward. No drilling or other modifications required other than popping out a few small panels and screws. The overhead tray was a bit of a bitch to install solo -- it will sit on its own when you get the tabs properly lined up between the two side panels, but there's little margin for error and just a little wiggle is enough to knock it off. Once you get a couple screws started though it'll lock into place pretty easily. I highly recommend using a drill with a hex bit rather than trying to do all of them by hand with a hex wrench while trying to hold the heavy things in the place with your other hand. The whole thing doesn't really take up all that much space, and the overhead tray doesn't block your rear view much, if at all. Looking back at it from the driver's seat though, it does all look pretty beefy, like there's a lot going on back there. Doesn't bother me at all given the added functionality which is why I got them in the first place, but if you're claustrophobic or concerned that the "cozy vibes" of your interior will be affected by by large hunks of metal (like my wife, ha) maybe skip the overhead tray.

As an obsessive rattle hunter, I was a bit nervous that adding all that metal to my interior was going to create obnoxious new noises. I'm happy to report that these things are solid as hell and do not make any sound at all, with a few caveats:
  • I did initially notice what sounded like metal sliding back and forth when I took a sharp turn. Turns out the spacers they provide to go behind the bottom panel screws might be just a touch too short for the space. I reinstalled these with a few extra washers and that completely fixed the problem.
  • Obviously, the more gear you add, the more noise you'll get hitting bumps and such. This of course is not the fault of the panels themselves, but I was able to mitigate 95% of this noise by spacing out the bags a bit so they don't rub against each other, cutting off all extraneous buckles/D rings/zipper pulls etc., and most importantly: adding some strategically placed 1/16 inch sticky foam to the button snaps on the back.
All bags are cheapo airsoft stuff from Amazon which so far have been more than capable of the task of hanging there and holding stuff. I'm not looking to keep any hardcore overlanding gear on the panels -- I just like having the organization and easy access for everyday stuff like sunscreen, work gloves, flash lights, towels, etc. and these have been perfect.
