I have a 2026 TRd OR premium. I put on 275/70/18 SL Nitto Terra Grapplers. What is the best PSI for a smooth ride. I live in Texas, gets pretty hot here if that matters.

The ride should be pretty smooth with SL tires. On my Pro they were. I ran mine at 36-37PSI

I have a Trailhunter and run at 30 psi, but I have 17s with 285/70/17 Nokians. Is the 4Runner heavier than the Trailhunter? I wonder if the volume is different from the stock 18s and 265s?

Depends on what you mean by “smooth ride.” My SR5 with SL Ridge Grapplers at 34 psi rides like a jitterbug at low speeds with any sort of road imperfections, but is quite smooth at 75 mph on a decent interstate highway. I’m pretty sure I could air down to 20 psi and wouldnt solve the ride quality. Saving for a Fox suspension.

I have a 6th gen 2025 TRD Sport Premium with 20 inch Nitto's. I run mine at 40 PSI. It gets me a smooth ride. If I had 17's or 18's I would probably roll with 36 or 38 PSI.

Not a fan of the ride I get with my 25 Sport Premium. Have the same tires and run mine at 35 psi. I’ve ran them at 32 and didn’t notice any difference. I’d think running them at 40 psi would be a harder ride but will give it a try.

I run 40 in the front 36 rear and it's pretty smooth for roads here in New England.

Have you run the chalk test with that much air?
as per air chart with the C ply and increased size it calls for 41Psi so no.
It feels right and we get new tires every 3 years anyways.
