Baja Designs S1 Hitch Light?

It was actually his idea and said Harley guys have done it to get pods to fit. It’s not like the light will get that hot. I’m sure it’s aluminum but still don’t want to shred and kill the light. The fins come real close not the wire too.

Since I had my 4Runner I have had a receiver shackle in there and this week I had nothing in there since I was wating the sleeve from Baja Designs. I kinda missed to look of my shackle and wasn’t even sure if I was going to like the light. I got the urge to blast the back of the light fixture and shave the fins with a Dremel with different kinds of bits.
All shaved and installed like it should look.
I was going to use the yellow lens and when I went to remove the 4 screws I felt 2 of them stripping so I stopped and kept the white. If I find a piece of lamin-x maybe I’ll use that but for now this is it.
Way too much trouble for what it is!
