I have a 2025 TRD ORP (non-hybrid) and it doesn't have the ASS feature at all (and, of course, no button to turn it off since it's not a feature). Are they including ASS on non-hybrid TRD ORP models in 2026?

the low end gas only trims dont have a start/stop button. i know the SR5 doesnt

not sure how far up the trim levels they keep it off or when they add it

all hybrids have start/stop internally and no way to defeat it with a module since there will never be a button to turn it off.

this is true for all hybrid i-force max on the BoF vehicles (tacoma, 4runner, tundra, sequoia, lc250)

i personally dont mind it, i just turn it into a game on how long i can drive on battery mode before the engine kicks in

usually i can play the game better on some tanks than others, last tank i got 20.8 mpg and right now this tank is sitting at 22.4 mpg

was at 22.8 but that dam hill to get out of the valley kills my mpg, plus the 75 mph drive out to base doesnt help either. but once i get on base, its how long i can cruise control (30 mph) on battery power before the ecu forces the engine back on.
