Anyone have any experience installing cell phone boosters?

Looking to possibly add a WeBoost Overland cell phone boost to the prinsu rack but I don’t know anyone with experience using it or anything similar. Curious as to first hand experience if anyone has any?

I installed one in my Sprinter camper van. It does work, but won’t pull nothing out of nothing. If there’s 1 bar of native cell signal, I can usually get 2 to 2.5 bars with the Weeboost on. Or in other words, I can turn marginal cell signal where you can barely text into enough bars to surf the internet or do a Zoom call.

For best function, it’s important to pay attention to the install instructions about mounting the external antenna as far from the internal antenna as possible. The other thing I‘ve found is your phone needs to be close (as in almost touching) to the internal antenna for the most gain.
