You previously stated that paint protection like ceramic might damage your paint. I asked from clarification and detail in the post and by direct message and got no response.
It all depends on what you are planning on using your truck for.
Compared to fixed running boards motorized running boards can add extra weight and maintenance, while taking away better body protection.

Did you get it from Temecula Valley Toyota? They had a TRD Pro there last week, I let them know I'd buy it on the spot. Took it for a test drive and Steve the salesman (great guy BTW) let me know when I got back that he couldn't sale it to me b/c they had to send it to AZ to add $16k worth of add ons so they can sell it for $86k. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. He talked to his manager to sale it now and they wouldn't budge.

I had the same experience with them. I found out later they actually send it to Wescott for all the Wescott mods. At least with Temecula Valley you actually get something for the "dealer mark up".
I'm in South Orange County. Not too many mods yet on the Max ORP, but they're on their way.
Very true, you do get something for that mark up but nearly $90k is ridiculous. To qoute one of my fav movies, "Better get me some sucky sucky wit dat"
All jokes aside, glad it didn't pan out with the TRD Pro. We were only going for that trim due to pure looks, we don't off road but my wife loves that off road look. The Limited we found, suits us perfect for practically.

Agreed 90K is defenitely, "Too beaucoup."
One of the reasons I didn't end up getting a Pro was because of the markup. Later, I also came to the realizition that I was going to change the suspension and wheels anyways, so what was the point of the Pro - FOR ME. Still looks great though with the hood and painted fender flares.

I’ve got an SR5 and a TRD SPORT in my family. My TRD ORP was delivered from Arizona last week but I have not had a chance to do much with it as I was on a 10 day overland trip doing BDR's in Nevada and Utah in my FJ. Looking forward to ripping into the 4runner. 3.5 inch lift kit is awaiting me at a shop in the San Fernando Valley.
