I noticed that when I remote start the vehicle and open the driver’s door by grabbing the handle, with the keyfob on me, I reach in and hit the brake and press the start button to normal start it. If I jump back out to open any other door or hatch, even with the fob still with me, they remain locked even if I try to use the fob unlock button, or grab any door handles. It actually makes a steady long beep as well, pointing out that I have done something dumb. I have to open the driver’s door and hit the unlock button. That became an embarrassing situation in front of my anti-tech wife. That combined with wireless Apple CarPlay being very persnickety is very annoying. Anyone else?

the apple carplay was annoying but i figured the fastest is just to go to settings, click your phone, switch carplay on. im sure youve figured that out but in case you were like me whod restart the car

When I leave my house, my phone is still connected to my house wifi, so I have to connect to the “smartphone” that comes up. Then I have to go into settings and “use apple CarPlay” on the screen. Other days it’s seamless. Some days I will hop out and hop back in and it won’t reconnect no matter what. Even stopping the engine, opening and closing doors and restarting. Even using the cord and restarting the phone. It’s infuriating.

When I auto-start, I press in and hold the volume button until the screen goes black. It quickly reboots and carplay is available. I read that in a previous post. It's a pain, but very simple.
