Has anyone found struts to replace the stock after installing a ladder on the back hatch on a 6th gen?

Aftermarket heavy duty struts for rear liftgate (after installing ladder)?
I tried looking up the code on the OEM struts on gasspringshop.com but had no luck. I did learn thogh the oem struts are rated 890N or 200 lbs

Good info, thanks for letting me know. I saw TRD Jon install a Westcott designs ladder and the liftgate seemed to struggle afterwards so I was planning on changing them. I saw an install video where the guy said westscott has a recommendation on strut upgrade but cannot find anything on westscott site so I emailed them. Will update if I hear anything. I also read some where that new strut do fine for few years but may need replacement at that point. Those we can find easy.
ask redline if they make tailgate strut replacements.

Ok. Have an update. I spoke to Westscott Designs. They said a few things: 1. Not seeing the same need for upgraded hood struts for new 6 Gen 4 Runners or new Land Cruisers or Lexus GX's. He said liftgate might droop no more than an inch with ladder added. They have not gotten any complaints on their own installs or customer DIY installs yet. 2.
