I recently traded in my 350k mile Tacoma for the 4Runner due to its history and reputation for longevity and ability. I tell you I was skeptical but pulled the trigger on this Everest TRD ORP about a month ago. It’s very nice to drive and seems very capable.
This weekend I took the family to the canyonlands in southern Utah to go camping and see how far off grid we could get. This 4Runner has my respect now. We got to some pretty out there spots with zero issue. Remind you this is fully stock because I’ve been indecisive on rims and tire upgrades and lifts etc. so this fully stock 4Runner got through some trails I never would have attempted in my 2WD Tacoma. I’m very impressed and look forward to the upgrades to get even further!
