Put deposit on incoming unit 08-22-2025 while in Build Phase

Took delivery on 10/09/25. TRD ORP Underground w/ tow tech pkg, moon roof, & roof rack cross rails.

I'm looking forward to doing some light mods to it even though it'll primarily be my wife's daily. We live in the sticks and the roads are sometimes under water to get in or out. And hogs, deer, turkey, and sometimes cattle like to hang out on the road. So I'll be looking at front replacement bumpers. I plan on doing full skid plates, a small level/lift w/bigger tires, bumper replacements, and some additional lighting. It's got the moonroof, so I haven't decided on an aftermarket half roof rack or not yet. I'll also be installing hood struts as well. I've never liked prop rods.

I've already installed Lasfit mats & seat back protectors and will be doing the front blinker LED replacement also.

It's our first 4runner but not our first Toyota (2008 Tacoma SR5 w/240k miles), which is now my daughter's first vehicle.

So far, my biggest gripe with it is, why in the world would Toyota make it so I can't open the rear hatch with the button inside the vehicle while I'm parked and idling? I don't understand that decision. Other than my first world gripe, we love it so far!
