Hey guys! I have a 6th gen trd or premium with falken at4wa 265 70 r18.
Could i get 285 70 r18 without the need of a lift kit or modifications? Would they rub without any modifications? Is this the biggest tire that wouldn’t need any modification?

Any recommendations for full underbody skid plates especially for engine plate with oil change access? Is the installation diy?

I will appreciate if u could pls elaborate each request/ question as this is my first 4runner in decades.

Thanks and Happy New Year!!!

You can get the size you stated you wanted and at the most it might rub the fender liner on certain dips and bumps.

I'm going with 285/65/18. Same diameter as the OE 265/70/18 but wider tread obviously for a meatier look. Also saves having to buy a 5th tire as the spare will still work, not to mention saving a bit on each tire as the 285/70/18 is fairly more expensive per tire.
