1000 miles on my '26 pro. I feel a minor bump going from 1 to 2 when i first start driving but usually never after that. I'd say it was more in the first couple hundred miles but definitely learned since then and getting better. Such a beast of a truck though. Loving every second
I am glad to hear it! I am now at 1000 miles with my '26 pro and for all the little feelings with the transimission, I honestly am not that put off by them because I absolutely LOVE driving this thing. I am also driving a JK Wrangler a couple of short trips daily and the difference getting out of one in to the other is night and day for sure. I do still love my JK, but for trips in to town or longer than riding the dogs around the countryside - there is nothing better than this pro for sure!

I am perplexed by these threads. My non-hybrid late-2025 build has a very smooth transmission. To the point that throughout my ownership I've literally gone "wow this transmission is so smooth & never gear hunts"

So either I have some unicorn build, or there is some sort of widespread perception issue going on

What drive mode are you in?

in normal mode, I get hard shifting from 1st to 2nd gear

1337 ODO
I moved mine to ECO yesterday out of normal. I put the first 1000 on her under Normal. Trying out the ECO now to see if I see any difference. I will know if it does it in ECO in a couple of hours when I leave the house for the first time today.

In my case, to be fair, it really isn't that bad. It's more of something that perks your ear. Made me think the first time my foot slipped off the gas pedal or something. After that it's more of a "hope this doesn't continue and turn in to something worse down the road" type of thing.

I am also paranoid because at just 50 miles (the morning after driving her home) a myriad of lights and warnings came on causing us to have to take her back to the dealership twice in 3 days for what turned out to be a bad ECU - so I had to leave her for a few days waiting on a new part and repair. It's been 1000 miles now and not another light has come on. I am sure she is fine. And you are right, outside of my morning start up - the transmission is amazing in this beast :D
