Waiting 4 2026 4Runner TRD Pro
Not in the market right now (got my ORP almost exactly a year ago). But was curious about the availability so I went to this page: Available Allocations LIst, and downloaded the latest 4runnerhybrid list from the link listed there: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1uOnNR7wVHN6o5rTjcMhVsNL3SKq5UJwC .

There really are virtually no TRD PROs available right now - and, regardless, most are on DealerHold. (Sorry to the Canadian OP, but this list is US-only) WOW.
I don't even see the one I put a deposit down on the list. Hope the dealer didn't take my deposit on a vehicle they will never receive.

I have been following 5 4runners they are all still on the '4runner hybrid' list. You may not see it on 'hybrid changes' list that listing will only show vehicles for 14 days if no further changes have been made.

There are no TRD Pros on any lot any where.
They wouldn’t be on the lot. They’ve be in route from the Japan. If it says “in transit” and does not say “pending sale” call the Dealership and directly ask. That is how I’m in one.

Mine was in the build phase.

After catching up on everyone’s replies, I reached out to my dealer here in North Carolina. He confirmed that word came down from Toyota, the target date is July 1, 2026 to release all TRD Pro 4Runners to dealerships.

After seeing the reports about metal shavings found in Tundra differentials, it makes me wonder if Toyota is inspecting all the Pros to ensure the same issue doesn’t affect them. That would be a serious black eye for Toyota if their flagship model ended up with the same problems.

Anyone else having these concerns?

So the 60 day hold just became 120+ days and nobody has a definitive answer as to what the actual hold up is?
I hope they honor my already negotiated trade in price🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah I have had a lot of concerns about what's going on. Hearing all kinds of reasons thru the internet. Any where from paint quality to part shortages, to hybrid reliability issues. What true what is not is anyone's guess. I have almost walked away from this deal several times like it’s a "sign". I already have plenty of 4runners including the wife's Trailhunter, do I really need another one. I have just been disappointed in my gen 5 and gen 6 has its own disappointments but its better than the gen 5. My heart is stuck on gen 3's and 4's I guess.

I was at my local dealership in GA getting my current Tacoma serviced last week and checked on the TRD Pro (making the trade as soon as it arrives) I have a deposit on and my sales rep showed me his dealer portal timeline and it had an estimated arrival date of May 16th screen. He said he felt pretty confident it would arrive on/around this date based on information he’s received. As with others on here, i’m hesitant on what to believe but am hopeful that’s the case for mine and the others patiently waiting. I plan to check back in at the start of next week and will let you what I hear. Cautiously optimistic.

I don’t think that was the hold up. The Tundra is not the 4Runner.

The hold up on the TRD Pro 4Runner in WaveMaker was a paint issue. That is true. The rest I don’t think has been confirmed.

Which Dealership?
Beaver Toyota - Cumming. There’s only a few scheduled to come in all across GA so hoping they all release at the same time so everyone can enjoy the excitement together.

Mine still shows the updated ETA in June as of talking to the dealer yesterday.
I think your dealer is shaking up to be the most accurate. I was hoping we would it earlier in the states but that doesn’t seem to be shaping up. 🤷🏻‍♂️
