2025 4Runner LTD touch-up paint formula

I have a Super Sonic red LTD that has a stone chip on the front bumper panel located just below the fog lights. The panel is silver in color. I contacted my local dealership to purchase touch up paint for that area and was informed that the panel is provided to Toyota by a 3rd party vendor and they do not sell the touch up paint for that part on my vehicle. I have to believe that some at Toyota knows the vendor who supplies that part and can contact them to ascertain the formula so the color can be matched here in the USA.
Do any have any contact information at Toyota that I could speak to about this issue. I’m sure I’m not the first person to have had this problem.

While I have not had this particular issue, I have had issues with getting information on accurate P/Ns myself, and have seen/commented on others inability to obtain info for their needs, as well. In that, I empathize, and hope that you get resolution for your issue. In those posts, regarding my aforementioned statements, I have received a response "It's not hard to look up parts" which, I've found to be, not only unhelpful, but intellectually lazy, in phrasing. Hopefully, those types of comments are not given to you, for this query, and...again, you get successful resolution on this.

That seems an odd response...if it came with the vehicle, installed by the factor, or even dealer if an OEM sourced part, they should cover it. Many parts on vehicles are not made by Toyota (I expect spark plugs, for example, are not) but are still available through them. If you dealer is not helpful (mine has been although I have not had any particularly difficult questions) I suggest trying the main Toyota numbers way down at the bottom of the Toyota web site home page if you do not find something a bit more local/direct.

Maybe ask your local auto body shop If they know. I’m sure they have repaired them in the past.
