Good morning, I’m preparing to perform 15,000 mile maintenance and looking for the torque requirements for 6th gen 4Runner propeller shaft bolts and body chassis nuts and bolts. Anybody from the group have the information? Thank you

That is recommended 15k maintenance? What other items do you plan on doing? I also hit 15k this week, planned on greasing my driveshafts and changing the oil but that was it.

Hello I can chime in, from the first 500 miles I put torque seal on all of my propeller shaft and slip joint bolts. On inspection the bolts had not moved at all.
I will probably torque them down to 60 to 65 pounds moving forward in 10k miles.

But I will mention that when I checked my propeller shaft zerk fittings for Grease they were very dry and took almost four solid pumps each.

Also, don't pump too much into the slip joint that is a compression area of movement. I gave it three pumps.

If you think you've over greased your slip joint you can simply remove the zerk fitting and jump up and down on the front or back or just drive it out over a couple of driveways and then recheck. Any excessive grease will Purge out and then reinstall the zerk fitting. Pretty straightforward.
