I am picking up a Rigd Ultraswing and the light for the license plate mount has a flat 4 pin connector. In order to connect it to the 7 pin trailer connection on my TRD PRO I need an adapter. There are lots of them on the market, but want something quality and that is going to fit and work...
If you have the Rigd UltraSwing on a 6th Gen 4Runner, I’d be curious to know the distance off the back of the SUV. In other words, measure from license plate to furthest point out on rear tire. Trying to figure if this thing will fit into my garage.
I was going to replace my cold intake filter (the conical shaped one) and keep the old one to clean it and then just be able to swap in and out going forward. having trouble trying to figure out how to get the conical shaped filter out. trying to be careful not to break anything. after...
My Toyota unexpectedly slammed on the brakes today, freaking me out, because it mistook the guy in front of me on a motorcycle as a pedestrian entering the roadway. I was doing 45 mph at the time.
For those of you that have upgraded your suspension with one built for under weight designs, curious what everyone is going with. Specific use case is overlanding with plenty of onroad driving to get there. Seems like Ironman 4x4 and Fox are the two that are very explicit on their site that...
Anybody install any of the following underbody armor on a hybrid 6G TRD PRO? If so, curious to hear feedback on fitment on various brands. Mostly, RCI, NYTop, DV8 and CBI making these.
* rear shock mount skid
* rear diff skid
* trailing arm (lower link) skid
* A-arm (lower control arm) skid
I have to replace my left rear shock and dealer wanted $1,300 for the part. Found it at another Toyota dealer with a 33% discount ($870). My dealer said it’s due to a Father’s Day sale but my particular dealership doesn’t participate in that promotion. So just a heads up sounds like there may...
Less than a thousand miles on these tires and bring them on a GREEN trail ride and something takes a quarter size scoop out of my sidewall. I mean, no tire is invincible, but never had this issue on the same trails with my OEM SL load Toyos. Unbelievable.
Anybody try the new lid that has built in channels for wiring exiting the fuse box?

Anyone experience this? Just started tonight. And it happened after I installed a Meso Customs white/red dome light. I read that the light at issue is tied to the dome light in some way. The Meso light wasn’t turning off at first. Then finally started working but then the exterior tailgate...
Just replaced my OEM tires as I was looking for a bit more sidewall and tread. I am selling five (5) Toyo Open Country AT3s 265/70 R18. Came stock on my 4R. These are a SL load tire. Mfgr says 43 pounds a tire. These tires only have 4,900 miles on them (95% road, 5% off-road). No punctures...
Anybody know the weight? I am trying to compare net net weight differences on new tires and possibly new rims. Want to compare to my OEM setup. AI google search says 34-37 pounds. Found some threads on other sites that say 28.75.
If you spent 75% of your time on pavement, and 25% on dirt doing overlanding, which load would you want? Assume no rock crawling but that you are going to encounter rocky trails. Assume you could see, snow, mud, rain or ice. Assume you are not driving a truck, but more SUV.
