    You are definitely going to run into CV problems at some point. Whether it’s torn boots, play or vibration. Doing a differential drop is just adding another problem into the mix and be prepared for Toyota to refuse any warranty work on any driveline, chassis, differential, transfers case, axle...

    Hmmm. I hooked mine up on my Pro and didn’t have to do the step with the wire. I don’t think the wire is cut I think the ground is spliced into the brown wire. Also, I do know that no power goes to the unit unless the vehicle is turned on and running. Maybe that’s the problem.

    Buy new tires, have an alignment done, chalk test the tires and inflate accordingly. You’re on oem tires with 13k+ and they are good for about 20-30k max. Post a picture of these tires.

    Do you corner hard? It’s notorious for outside wear with big profile off road tires to wear faster on the outer edges because the tires are pushing hard there in corners.

    I’d replace the rear differential fluid and possibly the transfer case if you think water went above them.
