Yes the normal kit will connect that way, but when the car is off, no power will go to camera. But if you use the optional “Sienna” cable it will still receive power and allow for what FitcamX calls “parking mode” so it can still capture after the car is shut off. This just is a cleaner way...
Those are the "Door Panel Scuff Protectors". The door edge guards are the body colored strips on the edge of door.
I was thinking about ordering the door edge guards but had only saw they came as 2 so wanted to make sure there wasnt a back set, which sounds like there isnt.
